DISCLAIMER

This is a role playing (RP) journal.  What does that mean?  The Player is not really Pansy Parkinson (would be creepy otherwise considering she is just a fictional character).

The portrayal of characters in this journal is based on Rowling's description in the book series combined with The Player's own image of the characters.  It is expected that they may be portrayed differently from the characters you have in mind.  :)

All in-text notes from The Player will be done in "[ooc:   ]"  (OOC = out of character)

If you wish to contact The Player, please send your owl here..  BE NICE.  :)

Last but not least:  The Player is not J.K. Rowling, is not affiliated in any way, shape or form with her, the WB, and the Harry Potter movie crew.  Pansy Parkinson and all HP characters mentioned in this journal are legally owned by Ms. Rowling and the WB.  (I'm just an utterly obsessed fan.) Other characters mentioned, including Pansy Parkinson, belong to the clique which The Player is a part of.

With all of that said, enjoy reading!  :)

Pricetta, Millicetta, Pansyetta, Clionetta.

Cheers.

Just got back from summering at Uncle William's estate in wizarding France. It was more of a "business" trip for my parents to discuss certain things with my uncle and auntie, but nevertheless it left me free to tour around France with Maria and Edward, second cousins on my mother's side that I rarely get to see. They're actually third cousins twice removed or some rubbish of Millicent's. Salazar knows the small pureblood breeding pool has us all related in some way (and in some cases I shudder to think of that).

We did a bit of muggle touring, but we spent a great deal of time in a village similar to Diagon Alley, only much, much bigger, and of course more French. They had the latest model broomstick on display in a shop window. I wonder if Adrian or Price has seen it? They'll be simply tickled. Of course, knowing the fact that they have a dozen stacks of Which Broomstick between them, I'd be surprised if they haven't.

At least we all know that Slytherin is the only house that can afford such up-to-date hardware. Salazar knows half of the Hufflepuffs are still on Cleansweeps. It's almost a disgrace. If their parents and gandparents had realized what was important in life- mainly money and power - than they wouldn't be in such a shameful position.

But now that I'm back I thought I'd get an early start on school shopping. Time to polish my prefect's badge and get ready for my last and final year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

They won't know what hit 'em.

Love, Pansy

{{Just browsing through old sites, and I was surprised to see that I'm still getting hits and subscriptions, so I thought I'd write an entry.}}

Well, I'm sure by now you've all heard about Bletch and I through the grapevine somehow. No one seemed very surprised, at least Millie didnt. "Well, it's about time."

News from the homefront, things still haven't been totally taken care of yet. Father says that things aren't as easy as he thought, that they are really tightening things up because of the Lord's return. He says it may take a bit more manuevering, but not to worry. I certainly hope not. I don't need any stupid extended family making people suspicious towards my immediate family. Prats.

Gave Potter detention this morning. That always makes me happy.

The excitement in our house tends to fluctuate, and right now it's on a bit of a downward slide, so needless to say things are dull. Tracy's ill, so I don't have her to keep me very occupied, but I've visited her in the infirmary a few times. Madam Pomfrey says she'll be out by tomorrow. Nothing serious. However, Cliodna's in a bit of a tiff with the boys, seeing as how Bletchley stole her dog to pick up birds, that prat and then lost it. Cliodna's hilarious, I don't know what I'd do without her.

Also, I have prefect duties which still don't cease to amuse me, even if we do have a simply horrible head boy and head girl. The selection was dispicable this year. Dumbledore is terribly old, he's obviously losing his mind. The head girl's a whore, and Salazar knows the head boy is just an idiot. Draco seems to be having more fun with his duties as well because I can tell he can barely keep a straight face every time he tells a Gryffindor or someone that they're being a 'menace to society'.
And I get the biggest kick every time I have to walk Katie Bell to her classes. I relish the authority I have over her.

In other news, I got a letter from father. He thinks things may be all right soon. He's talked to the Minister of Magic about the 'false accusations' brought upon my cousin. He's been working on taking care of them. Mother sounds relieved as well. Attention is being diverted away from it. Bridget's happy.

Oh, Tracy's back. Must go see how she's feeling.

--

I got about fifty letters today from the family. Bit of a family crisis. My cousin's been arrested by the ministry. Actually extended family troubles. My father's working to take care of it. I'm sure he will. He's got a lot of power in the ministry. Those stupid cows. Daphne was about to hex me today when I got my 6th letter, I think she's expecting one as well. She kept thinking it was hers, but no, just another letter from mother. I see nothing, I hear nothing, I know nothing. I actually think Bridget's a bit upset now that all the sympathy and attention has been taken off of her. Poor prat.

Nate found Cliodna's dog in his closet. I always thought dogs were the strangest things. Don't see why people keep them. I thought that was a muggle thing? They just tend to get in the way, and by the state of Nathan's closet, they always get into your things.

Detention tonight. Littering? Forchrissakes...

Last night was the weirdest night ever. I had a dream that it was time to wake up, and then when I woke up for real (at 3 in the morning or so) for some reason I still thought it was time to get up. So I got out of bed, changed into my school clothes, brushed my hair, and then as I was putting on my shoes, I was looking around realizing how dark it was, and why isn't anyone else awake? So, being the stupid person that I am, instead of checking a clock, I chuck a shoe at Millicent's head to wake her up, or we'll be late. Boy did that cause an uproar. I startled Millie so much that the poor dear fell out of bed, scaring Cliodna, who jumped out of bed on top of Millie, and then Tracy woke up and thought someone was attacking us all and started to scream. Needless to say, nobody was very happy with me, and we heard a "SHUT UP" coming from one of the boy's dorms.

See, all this stress has been getting to me. Doing things like that can't be a good sign of mental health. *sigh*

[ I'm Feeling | very, very cold ]
[ Current Music | Sonatina in G Major- Anton Diabelli ]

Things have been... poor? I think I've come to a bit of a stopping point in my life where I realize that I really, really need to get over this whole procrastination thing... The work is just piling up. And yet here I am, not even putting quill to parchment because I just can't bring myself to do anything even close to productive. Plus I think I may be getting sick. Again. I should get points for the world's worst immune system. Either that or it's just really, really cold in the common room and no one else seems to notice, because Salazar am I shaking like a leaf. I heard once that when little children roll around in the mud, it's actually good for them, because they're exposing themselves to different bacteria and such and they build up immunities to them. That must be my problem; I never rolled around in the mud. But that's in the past and I'm so cold I think my fingers are going to freeze off and I'm already wrapped up in a blanket and sititng by the fire. Maybe I can borrow a sweatshirt off of Cliodna.

[cliodna, bletchley, pucey]

Speaking of Cliodna, we're beginning to wonder what we're going to do to win our bet, and we've come to the realization this is going to take a lot of work. We've come up with a few ideas, but nothing seems to be quite good enough. Bletchley and Pucey don't seem worried though. They just wink at me and skip down the hall (no, literally, they skip) and they've been telling me all sorts of things that'll calm Montague down when he gets really pissed, which leads me to believe they've had more experience in these kinds of situations than I thought. But I figure even if we do lose, we'll shift all of the blame onto the boys like Cliodna says, but personally I really wouldn't want to be the first person he sees after he gets over the initial shock of losing his beloved broom.

Salazar, why the hell did you have to trash Montague's broom?? Couldn't you have killed his mother instead?!

[/cliodna, bletchley, pucey]

Plus all of the professors seem much more annoying lately. Even snape, and he doesn't usually give me too much pain. Only another year and then I can be rid of this school forever.

And I'm missing like five different bras that don't appear to be anywhere. And I've looked. Trust me. I even looked to make sure Lillith wasn't looking too full. She has a tendency to eat things that shouldn't be eaten. I just hope one of them isn't my red bra. *sigh* Why do things always seem to disspear around here?
